Getting More Massage Therapy Clients, Without Expensive Advertising, Part 3:

 

In Part 2, I explained how you need to find other people who have the groups of people who seek massage. So how did you go?

Do you also remember how I said, in Part 1, that the secret is in your own massage business? What does this mean? Well, to help you find out who these people are that are coming to you, so you can find more of them to market to the answer is quite simple.

Look at your client records. So you see an emerging pattern of who is coming to you. Age group is similar? Gender is predominant to one sex? Do they have the same sort of problems?  Do they come from a similar source?

If you find a common theme that all your clients have then you are way ahead of most massage therapists across the globe. Now take this information and ask yourself what other people in the community treat these people?

You’ll be surprised to find that you have a not only one group of people, but you might have two or three that come to you. Which means you might have two or three types of other health practitioners that have those people coming to them too, that you can market to.

Once you do this in your business, your marketing (with the right message conveyed in your advertising) will have more successful results. It will have more successful results because you are getting your message ‘out there’ to people who specifically want massage in their lives, not people who don’t. I know it’s very simple, but not 1 in 100 therapists does this basic and practical process.

It’s easy once you get going with it. So start today. Don’t waster another minute on feeling frustrated because you don’t have enough clients coming to you. Getting more clients can be a fun exercise if you do it the right way.
